So far work has been received/pledged by:

Katy McAulay
Kirsty Logan
Alex Cox
Gar Hunter

Mandy Maxwell
Stuart Wilson
Emma Briant
Helen Sedgwick
Betty Porelli
Paul McDonagh
Eamonn Bolger
Cara McGuigan
Deborah Andrew
Nick Boreham

Paul Marsh
J.David Simons
Paul McQuade

A brief personal note: this venture was initially set up by Iain Paton, whose wife Deborah was in Iwate teaching English for a year. She hopes to supply some images and memories of Iwate. Thankfully, Iain’s friends from Ofunato are so far safe, although the emotional and human cost is difficult to imagine.

Having difficulty submitting some of my work via email addressed to writersglasgowjapan@yahoo.com. I am recurrently getting a Delivery Service Failure message from Hotmail. Is this difficulty something that only I am encountering?

    Hi there,
I emailed you a submission on 6 April and just wondered if you’d received it safely. It’s a collation of haiku from me and four of the students in my Open Uni creative writing group.
    Thanks for checking!
    Best,
    Carol.
